More complex steel projects for Voortman Steel Construction

Steel giants designed by Voortman Steel Construction are rising in more and more places in the Netherlands. We are increasingly involved in complex steel construction projects. Examples are The Joan in Amsterdam, De Zalmhaven in Rotterdam and Central Park in Utrecht.

The fact that we are increasingly involved in this type of projects indicates that our working method has proven to be successful. We distinguish ourselves in the implementation of these projects through our knowledge and working method. Important factors contributing to this are our in-house structural engineers, an automated production process and the fact that we have a lot of in-house knowledge.

We are often asked for projects in which buildings are transformed from office space to apartment complexes. These types of processes are usually executed by a construction team, a method with which we have already gained a lot of experience. In addition, we see that contractors are increasingly focusing on limiting the risks of a project. Manager Sales Engineering Gerben Koers: "We have proven to be a reliable partner who thinks along and makes an offer based on both the wishes of the customer and the requirements of the project."

Already in the construction team phase, we think along about the implementation of the project. This forms the basis for a good relationship between equal partners, which contributes to a smooth course of the construction process. As a result, more and more customers come back to us for the next project. A good example is the collaboration with Heembouw. At the Oudeland business park in Berkel en Rodenrijs, we are jointly building two distribution centres and a commercial building.
